Event Description
Ever wondered what secrets are hidden inside the rocks we see every day? In this fun, hands-on class, you’ll step into the role of a rock detective! Testing, observing, and using clues to crack the code of mystery rocks from across the nation. Move from station to station, examine each sample’s unique features, and work to uncover their true identities. It’s real-world geology meets a scientific mystery game!
Notes
This class is geared towards adults and older teens. The minimum age for this course is 13 years old. This event will be held in the Project Room. Upon arriving at the Florence Extension office, head straight ahead from the front doors, past the glass reception desk, and through the first door on the right hand side of the hallway.
