Get creative with this hands-on, open-house style workshop on making a piggy bank to enter in the 2025 America Saves Piggy Bank Contest. Bring materials you would like to use or use what we have available. This workshop is for children in preschool through 12th grade; however, only those children in kindergarten through 12th grade can enter the statewide piggy bank contest. There will be a separate, county-wide contest for our preschoolers. If you cannot make this workshop, you can still submit a piggy bank for the contest. Piggy banks are due to the Boone County Cooperative Extension office by January 10, 2025. 2025 Contest rules and entry form can be found at the extension office or check the program documents below for a PDF version for download and viewing. 

If there are specific materials you would like to use for the piggy bank, please bring them. We will have some materials available for use.
