4-H Harvest, Food Exhibit & Food Preservation Judging Contest
In-PersonDon’t miss this incredible opportunity to showcase your hard work and have your exhibits shine at the State Fair!
Last Revised: Feb 14th, 2025
Event Description
Due to the early timing of our county fair, crops won’t be ready for harvest, and plants might wilt before it’s time to showcase them at the State Fair. But don’t worry! We’ve got something special lined up!
Here’s how it works:
- Youth participants can enter their fair exhibits in the following 4-H categories: Crops, Food, Food Preservation, Horticulture and Plant Science and Tobacco! (See attached documents below for additional details)
- All submitted items will be judged on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
- Pick up your judged entries by Friday, July 25, 2025.
🏅1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be notified to submit freshly picked or cooked duplicates for the Kentucky State Fair! Items need to be dropped off to our office on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 12 - 1 PM. Our staff will transport them to the State Fair.
Must be a Boone County 4-H Member, registration forms can be found under the 4-H Youth Development page on this website.
**No pre-registration required
