Save the Date! KY Issues Conference 2017 is September 28-October 1

The 2017 Issues Conference takes place at the Lake Cumberland 4-H Educational Center in Jabez, KY. During this conference, high school juniors and seniors will select an issue that they are concerned about and briefly research the topic. They are given the opportunity to share their ideas and collaborate with other 4-H’ers from around the state to identify and address local issues. Adult facilitators work with delegates, leading them in the process of preparing a simulated presentation to a community board. Following the conference, our county team will have the opportunity to submit a mini-grant proposal addressing an identified local issue! Check out the promotional video on YouTube at https://youtu.be/pckacgvdee8, or by searching for “KY 4-H Issues Conference” on YouTube. The cost to attend is $198. Contact Paul at paul.adkins@uky.edu with questions.
